Alvic School of Music has a unique teaching philosophy which encourages all ages and abilities to explore and achieve their musical potential in a relaxed, comfortable environment.

Individualized instruction is available to students age five and older. In addition to weekly lessons, students are given the opportunity to perform for family and friends at informal and formal recitals multiple times a year. They will not only receive instruction on instrument playing, but will also be taught theory, ear training, technique, sight-reading and transposition.

Learning to play an instrument is a skill that can bring pleasure throughout one’s life. The Alvic School’s goal is to help students enjoy playing an instrument and help them bring joy to others who hear them.
