Andrii started his training at the age of six, and has invested much of his time in piano performance. Besides a piano teacher and instrumentalist, he is also an experienced Woodwind educator and performer with a wide range of musical proficiency in Clarinet, Saxophone, and Flute.

Andrii Berezhnyi earned his Masters degree in Music from Donetsk Music University (Ukraine), and also received his Bachelors degree in Music Performance from Severodonetsk Music College (Ukraine). During the time at Donetsk Music University, Andrii performed in the Wind and Symphony orchestras, Folk Quartet, Jazz Ensemble, and served as a substitute pianist, organist, and choral director in local churches; in addition to giving solo recitals every semester.

Andrii is fluent in Classical Music and Jazz, and can teach multiple genres to students, including Pop, Rock, Funk, and more. He can help students achieve high grades in their School, Wind, or Symphony Orchestra, and School or Jazz Band. His teaching style focuses on finding what students feel passionate about and nourishing their love for music.

As a teacher, Andrii puts the interests of every student in the center of their learning experience. He makes sure any technical exercise is relevant to the student’s musical interests, while keeping the lessons fun and engaging. Rather than forcing the students into a predetermined path, Andrii’s goal is to help each one find their unique voice through music expression.
